Halal In Travel Awards is a celebration of the travel industry players' efforts to make Halal travel a seamless experience. These awards recognize destinations, organizations, companies, and individuals who have made a considerable impact on the Muslim lifestyle travel segment spanning different categories.
There are four categories of awards. Each category has a list of awards given to the top performer based on the winner selection process. Some of the awards are based on the GMTI scores, some are through a nomination process followed by the selection of winners by a panel of judges consisting of industry experts, and another set of awards based on popular votes.
This year's Halal In Travel Awardee in the HalalTrip Traveler's Choice Awards for Halal Travel Marketing Campaign of The Year is Turespana Spain Andalusia. Turespana is an institution that is responsible for promoting Spain as a tourist destination around the world, their marketing campaign for Andalusia has effectively showcase the regents rich Islamic history with its well crafted narrative and visually appealing content that attracts muslim tourists.
